On behalf of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) and the ABAC Digital Innovation Working Group (DIWG), Digital Innovation Forum presents a forward looking agenda on frontier challenges now impacting on manufacturing, distribution, financial sectors/banking and online lending with bad credit, e-commerce, IT, education and research.
We aim to develop a business-centric framework of principles relevant to the advancement of digitization and innovation, and acknowledging that the future world will be more sophisticated in terms of openness, transparency, the free flow of information and technology agnosticism. It is our vision that the Forum will have global impact on e-commerce, which will contribute $3.6 trillion by 2019. The Asia Pacific region is where most of the growth will take place. The Forum will also generate and promote inclusiveness and address global disruptions.
This is the moment for us to unveil the opportunities and challenges in such a disruptive world.
