Australia

  • Visa-exempt. Please ensure your passport has a remaining validity of at least six months as of the date of entry. Before arriving, please complete an online immigration arrival card on the website of the National Immigration Agency.
  • Bearers of a valid APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) are eligible to enter and stay for up to 3 months.

Brunei Darussalam

  1. A passport valid for at least six months;
  2. A duly completed application form with two photos taken within the past six months;
  3. An outbound airline ticket or verifiable proof of purchase of steamship ticket;
  4. Documents verifying the purpose of visit; and
  5. Other relevant documents.

* Information for Inbound Passengers

  • Passengers must declare the amount of foreign currencies in excess of USD10,000 (or its equivalent in other foreign currencies). Not more than NTD100,000 in notes can be brought in by each passenger.
  • Articles listed below shall not be imported:
    • Heroin, morphine, opium, cocaine, cannabis, amphetamine, etc. prescribed in the “Act for the Control of Narcotics” and their derivatives and products.
    • Arms (including shotguns, fishing guns, air guns, etc.), ammunition (including bombs, cartridges, and explosives), assault knives and other weapons of war prescribed in the “Act Governing the Control of Guns, Ammunition and Knives.”
    • Any wild animals, and endangered wildlife species or products thereof are not allowed to be imported, unless a permit issued by the BAPHIQ is obtained in advance; if the species is included in the list of CITES, the CITES import permit shall be required for Customs verification.
    • Articles infringing upon the rights of patents, trademark and copyrights.
    • Fake or spurious currencies or securities, or moulds for printing counterfeit currency.
    • All restricted substances and drugs of non-prescription or non-medicinal nature (including marijuana).
    • Fruits, live animals, plants and their products. Please consult the BAPHIQ for the import and export of pets, plants and products thereof.
    • Other articles prohibited by law from importation.
  • Delegates are required to present completed customs forms to immigration authorities upon arrival.
